There’re two colorways that New Balance seems to be most synonymous with: blue and (of course) grey. Now the former comes to dress the MADE in USA division’s 990v4.

The eponymous Navy, along with Blue, Grey, and White work in tandem to dress the model’s construction of pigskin suede, leather overlays, and breathable mesh.

Grey arrives, albeit subtly, over the “N” logos on the profiles, heel overlays, tongue labels, “990” lateral branding, top eyelets, ENCAP midsole, and rubber outsole. Although it accents several components of the shoe, it doesn’t steal the spotlight from the Navy Blue star of the show engulfing the pair.

For a hit of contrast comes the red accents on the heel and insole branding, while white makes an appearance at the forefoot of the midsoles. Black underfoot completes the look.

Expect to find them in New Balance’s brick-and-click stores although no firm release date has been disclosed. But they are said to retail for US$210. Stay tuned for more details!

In other sneaker-related news, the Nike Dunk Low Split comes ashore in “Sea Green”.
