LANVIN en Bleu and Mizuno Are Set To Drop a MR1 Sneaker Collab
Offering an elevated look on running footwear.
LANVIN en Bleu, a Japan-based sub-division of luxury fashion house LANVIN, is set to partner with sportswear label Mizuno for a collaborative take on the latter’s MR1 sneaker.
With a concept of “dress-complimenting sneakers”, the duo offers a redesign of vintage running shoe silhouettes. Constructed with a textile and glossy black leather upper build alongside amber-colored gum sole, the pair features an extended shoe tongue for an elevated aesthetic. Gold accents then hits the lace tips and LANVIN branding before a co-branded graphic print on the insole completes the design.
Slated to release on 25 August, the LANVIN en Bleu x Mizuno MR1 sneaker will be made available for purchase via LANVIN en Bleu and select Mizuno stores nationwide. Retail price tag is set at 25,300 JPY (~US$180) per pair.
