Nike Takes the Air Max 1 on a “Fuchsia Dream”
Returning in the Air Max 1's classic two-tone color scheme.
The Nike Air Max 1 certainly has had quite the year. Celebrating its 35th anniversary, the annual Air Max Day saw the return of the OG “Big Bubble”, along with a myriad of inline releases. Coming into the second half of the year, the Beaverton-based brand hasn’t let up yet, with a new “Fuchsia Dream” on its way.
Arguably simple compared to some of its recent siblings, the “Fuchsia Dream” could well indeed be a dream for Air Max 1 collectors. Arriving in the silhouette’s classic two-tone palette, white takes on most of the sneaker while a muted shade of pink arrives on the suede mudguards, medial Swoosh, eyestays, and branding spots.
It’s a relatively simple outlook, but one that will be much appreciated by collectors. The Nike Air Max 1 “Fuchsia Dream” is slated to arrive on Nike SNRKS and select retailers on 27 July, at a price point of US$150.
