Release Confirmed: Nike V2K Run in Triple Black Colorway
The Swoosh drops one more colorway of its popular new women's silhouette.
[Update 20 Oct 2023] Nike has confirmed a release date for the triple black version of the Nike V2K Run (or Runtekk). The official name of this colorway is “Black and Anthracite” and the Y2K-inspired model is set to drop in Japan on 2 November.
The Nike Runtekk, Nike’s newest sneaker for 2023, has surfaced in a new all black colorway.
Originally introduced in a Sail and silver color, the lifestyle runner has now taken a leaf from the beloved Zoom Vomero 5 series and showed up in a “Triple Black” colorway. Coincidental or not, the silhouette also bears resemblance to the Nike Zoom Vomero 5, fetauring a mesh underlay upper topped off with TPU cage and leather overlays.
For the Runtekk, the chunky Cushlon outsole is definitely the standout design detail that manages to somehow marry retro and futuristic elements together. Although marketed as a women’s pair, sizes for both colorways will run from Women’s US5 to US16.5.
The Nike Runtekks are priced at US$110 and will arrive in fall 2023.
