[Update 9 Jan 2024] Salehe Bembury himself just announced on Instagram that the two colorways of the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1906R “HEAT BE HOT” will be released on 11 January, 9AM (PST) at his beaspunge.com webstore.

[Update 20 Dec 2023] Taking to Instagram, Salehe Bembury has unveiled new images of his upcoming New Balance 1906R collaboration. Check them out via the gallery above and expect a release in the coming weeks as revealed during his interview with Sneaker Freaker.
[Update 25 Sep 2023] Salehe Bembury hinted at a New Balance 1906R collaboration back in June. Before any more details have surfaced of the pair, by way of social media again, he hints at another colorway. This time with a striking mix of red and blue with unique branding elements. All sitting atop a burgundy midsole and purple outsole.

Salehe Bembury’s name has made headlines over and over again this year. From being named as Crocs’ Creative Director of “Pollex Pod” to working with the likes of Moncler, the American designer has had quite the year thus far. Adding on to his long list of accolades is a reunion with New Balance, this time on the popular 1906R model.
During Paris Fashion Week, Bembury offered a first look at his upcoming collaboration with the Boston-based brand. Sporting a fiery gradient accent across the upper, this latest offering is certainly poised to be a hot release—figuratively and literally. Metallic silver accents appear on the sneaker’s overlays and midsole to round off the design.
It’s still early days for the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1906R, but if you’re as excited as we are, expect more news about this exciting collaboration in the coming weeks.
