Summer’s here and Nike’s hosting a six-week basketball tournament featuring the top high school players from all five boroughs of New York City. The “NY vs. NY” motif was first introduced on the KD 16, followed later by the Nike Terminator Low. The latest to wear its scarlet makeup is the technology-driven, high-performance Nike Zoom GT Cut 2.

A watermelon-esque tint and tonal red hues engulf the upper, while contrast is introduced by way of the clean whites that dress the silhouette’s signatures. Like the Zoom Air midsole on the heel, profile Swooshes, collar lining, and the “NY vs. NY” tongue tab. Subtle neon accents complete the ensemble through its sole presence on the eyestays.

The shoes are expected to release with an RRP of US$170, although no dates have been disclosed. They should emerge within the coming weeks so stay tuned!
