Known for their military roots and vintage-inspired aesthetics, Japanese designer label DAIRIKU officially taps Converse for their upcoming AW23 collection.

Offering their take on the All Star US Hi, the collaborative pair features a black shaggy suede upper construction, decorated with scribbled text on the toe cap and insoles which reflects the founder, Dairiku Okamoto’s inspiration found from movies.

Other components including debossed lace locks and interior collar imprints then adds a subtle touch to details while keeping the classic outlook of the pair. Contrasting its main color scheme comes a prominent blue hue on the undersole.

The DAIRIKU x Converse All Star US Hi will be made available from 24 June via DAIRIKU retailers, followed by a wider release on 26 June via Converse. Retail price is set at 27,500 JPY (~US$194) per pair.
