adidas entered the metaverse when they launched their first NFT project in December 2021. Two years since, Web3 has changed significantly with numerous innovators and businesses contributing to the industry’s evolution. For adidas, they’ve recently added wallet connectivity to the CONFIRMED app. Furthemore, in addition to cultivating their own project (ALTS by adidas), they’re now teaming up with FEWOCiOUS on the their first token-Gated, NFC-Tagged sneaker.

The duo created a limited Trefoil Flower Mint Pass and its purchase entails a complimentary collaborative Campus 00s redeemable sometime in the summer.

The Seattle-based artist said of the project, “Working with adidas is a real dream come true. I can’t believe I was paintin’ adidas shoes in my bedroom by myself four years ago and now I get to officially collaborate with them! This is one of the longest projects I’ve ever worked on and keeping things a secret is so hard I just want to scream it from the rooftops!

“I really believe in the future of fashion and footwear and the intersection of digital and physical, and I’m so excited for these to see the world and for everyone to be part of that journey with me.”
