[Update 24 Jan 2024] Two new pictures have recently been making the rounds on the Internet. More importantly, they’ve been projected for release on February 2024 via adidas CONFIRMED, and select retailers online and in-store. Each pair’s price is US$130.

For now, they’re projected for release sometime in the spring next year with an RRP of US$130. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!

Iconic animated IPs have always found their way into fashion, some of which include Hello Kitty, SpongeBob SquarePants, and most recently—the highly-anticipated Powerpuff Girls x Nike Dunk Low. Of course, the list is endless but next in line will be the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT). The animated series that began in the mid ’80s has been purported to be in collaboration for an upcoming adidas Originals collection.

The rumor hasn’t been addressed in any official capacity, neither are there any leaks to ascertain its veracity. As mentioned earlier, considering how common it is for cartoons and fashion to converge, it’s not hard to believe that a TMNT x adidas Originals collection will happen.

Perhaps we’ll see each of the Turtles—Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo—get their own colorway of an iconic adidas silhouette, or become motifs on an apparel line. We’ll have to wait and see. More details should come to light within the coming months with the rumor projecting their release in the spring of 2024.
