[Update 20 Oct 2023] The Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Radiant Emerald” was originally expected to drop on 24 August, as part of the starting lineup in Nike’s Kobe line reboot.

Nevertheless, the titular pair is now purported for release on 8 February 2024. It’s yet to be confirmed but if they do arrive then, find them on Nike SNKRS with a new starting price of US$190. Following the “Triple White” colorway of the Kobe 8 Protro, comes the titular “Radiant Emerald”. Both pairs are expected to be released on 24 August in honor of Kobe Day.

The pair comes dressed in a two-tone color palette of Radiant Emerald and White. The former highlights the profile Swooshes, interior, laces, and rubber outsole; while the latter forms the entirety of the lightweight, knitted base layer. Moreover, Kobe’s insignia and autograph can be found on the heel counter and insoles, respectively.

An engineered mesh top, uniform synthetic overlays, and pebble-grain leather around the collar and heels forms its primary construction. The design is finished with a full-length Lunarlon midsole and Zoom Air padding.

They’re expected to be availed in men’s sizing with an RRP of US$180. Find them on SNKRS on Mamba Day, 24 August!
