Macklemore’s Bogey Boys Clothing Brand Releases Collection With adidas
Reimagining timeless styles from the '70s and '80s that established new trends for fashion, lifestyle and sports.
[Update 13 Jun 2023] Official product images of the Bogey Boys x adidas MC80 Golf Shoes have finally been disclosed. They’re to go live with the rest of the collection on 14 June for US$220. Find them then on adidas.com and Bogey Boys!
Started in February 2021, Macklemore emerged from the pandemic with a new golf and lifestyle brand: Bogey Boys. He personally co-designs each collection to ensure the right fit, look, and style for each item. Two years later, they’re tapped by adidas to collaborate and rejuvenate their golf division.
Expounded by Dylan Moore, senior creative director of adidas Golf, “Macklemore and the Bogey Boys team were the perfect partners for this because of their love for vintage apparel and eye-catching designs.”
The Bogey Boys x adidas collection will introduce classic, clean, and sporty designs for golfers keen to express their personal style. Their joint effort—produced in a range of Refined White, Altered Blue, and Collegiate Green—includes vests, collared shorts, terry cloth track suits, trousers, rompers, high-waisted skirts, and graphic tees. Each one imbued with both brands’ logos.
The pièce de résistance, however, is the brand new, spikeless footwear model: the MC80. It harkens back to the classic styles from the Three Stripes’ archives; while infused with modern technology, such as the TORSION bar integrated into the TPU outsole, along with BOOST cushioning concealed in the heel.
It features a two-tone makeup with White engulfing the upper and the sole unit, black. Its leather make uptop detailed with brogues along the ankle, the circumference of the shoe, and the modular kiltie. Like the other offerings in the collection, it too features co-branding by way of the metal emblem over the removable kiltie.
Get your hands on these pieces from 14 June on adidas and Bogey Boys’ webstores.
