Vans Decorate Their Old Skool and Sk8-Hi With “Paisley Grey”
Giving the Californian classic a Bohemian touch.
Vans have reimagined their most iconic silhouettes in a plethora of ways in their 50-year history. They’re simply styles that are so indelible in the zeitgeist, they will never go out of style. In continuance of this MO, they imbue two at the vanguard of their catalogue, the Old Skool and Sk8-Hi, with paisley imprints.
The pairs arrive in uniformity dressed in a palette of Black, Grey, and White with the colors of the first two alternating over the pairs. For the Old Skool, Grey adorn much of the suede upper, broken apart by the black paisley prints in canvas, on the quarters. The Sk8-Hi similarly fashioned, wit black over the upper, split by the grey paisley on the profiles. Both pairs sit atop white midsoles and gum rubber outsoles.
A release date hasn’t been disclosed but they’re projected to retail for US$75 of the Old Skool and US$85 for the Sk8-Hi. Stay tuned for more details!
