Shortly after previewing the Nike Air Jordan 1 Low OG “UNC to Chicago”, it seems like Jordan Brand is ready to add a new silhouette to the series: the Nike Air Jordan 1 Mid “UNC to Chicago”.

Unlike its Air Jordan 1 Low counterpart, this upcoming iteration sees the Air Jordan 1 Mid doused mainly in light colors. White leather takes on most of the sneaker’s upper and overlays. Blue Lightning, representing Michael Jordan’s college alma-mater, University of North Carolina, appears on the toe box’s mudguard and tongue lining, while University Red takes on the heel and inners.

Gilded accents accentuate the sneaker, primarily across the profile Swooshes, collar, Wings logo and the elephant prints present on the toe box and heel. Both sides of the tongue label have also been edited to further pay tribute to His Airness’ success over the years.
