The First Air Force 1 With a Collapsible Heel
Nike Air Force 1 meets FlyEase system.
Nike recently released a pair of Triple White Air Force 1 Low which, at first glance, looks nothing out of the ordinary. However, the pop of black on the Nike logo at the tongue and the tiny icon on the lacing system, reveal that there’s something more.
Enter the Nike Air Force 1 “FlyEase”—the first ever AF1 Low to implement Nike’s FlyEase system, which strives to create shoes that are easy to wear hands-free. Amazingly, the Air Force 1 “FlyEase” has managed to retain the iconic Air Force 1 look (and colorway), while also incorporating a collapsible heel for easy entry. Familiar AF1 elements abound, from the smooth white leather to the metal dubrae and embroidered “Nike” heel tab.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “FlyEase” has dropped in certain regions, including on 18 May in Japan, with a US$110 price tag.
