Luxury football boots have been created before, but this is definitely the first time these two giants from the worlds of sports and fashion have collaborated on this particular niche. However, this is by no means the first collaboration between adidas and Prada: they originally surprised sneaker and fashion communities back in 2020 with a Superstar collab, then again with the A+P Luna Rossa in 2021, and again with the Prada x adidas Forum famously worn by A$AP Rocky in 2022. The duo continues to grow stronger which each new round of collaborations, keeping fans on their toes as they anticipate what the brands’ creative synergy will produce next.

The newest addition to the adidas x Prada lineup is a 3-piece football boot collection, incorporating high fashion design elements, luxury materials and quality construction into existing adidas Football silhouettes. This includes the X Crazyfast, Predator Accuracy, and Copa Pure in white, black/red and silver colorways respectively. The white X Crazyfast and black/red Predator Accuracy both feature Prada’s Linea Rossa logo in a red stripe bisecting their tongue and heel, as well as the brand’s iconic triangle motifs scattered across the upper. Meanwhile, the shiny silver Copa Pure features a leather flap embossed with Prada’s logo covering the laces, creating a sleek and clean look unique to that silhouette.

The adidas and Prada football boot collection will be released on the adidas CONFIRMED app from 22 to 25 May, as well as on Prada’s official webstore on 25 May. Based on Prada’s Chinese webstore, the three luxury football boots will be retailing for CN¥5,300 (~US$750). For closer looks at the collection’s offerings, swipe through the slider at the top.

Also in the realm of adidas Football, check out the new capsule collection by adidas Originals and Manchester United.
