adidas Y-3 Launches Adizero Running Collection for the Summer
Talk about giving you a run for your money.
One of the longest-running partnerships in the history of the sneaker industry has been between adidas and Japanese designer, Yohji Yamamoto. For more than 20 years, merging the performance line of the Three Stripes with the avant-garde, cutting-edge style of the aforementioned eponymous label.
Yohji Yamamoto manifests his signature, renegade design language to four different silhouettes: the Y-3 Boston 11, Takumi Sen 9, UltraBOOST Light, and Runner 4D FWD. Embarking on a ground-breaking examination of the Adizero capsule, each futuristic overhaul comes dressed, typically, in shades of jet-black along with clean white brushstrokes that extend from the midfoot profiles down toward the sole unit of each pair.
The adidas Y-3 Adizero Running collection will be released on 12 May, exclusively on the adidas App, as the first in a continuing series of offerings.
