New Balance is indubitably a legacy brand, well-recognized for its heritage. Despite its expansive catalogue traversing classic and forward-thinking designs, it remains most synonymous with its muted grey palette. Thus, “Grey Day”, a contrived holiday to honor this hallmark. Come 12 May, the Bostonian shoemaker will be commemorating the yearly occasion with an excellent array of silhouettes, which includes a number of items from its Made In USA collection and other beloved models.

The New Balance 990v4, New Balance 990v6, two New Balance 996s, and two New Balance 998 colorways, all from the Made In USA line, will comprise this year’s releases.

Grey pigskin suede overlays, white mesh base layers, and blue accents on the “N” emblem and specific upper elements unify the pairs sold under the MIUSA umbrella. Each upholding the MIUSA division’s reputation for premium construction and time-honored designs.

Also falling under the Grey Day celebrations, the “Moon Daze” pack will feature the New Balance 550, New Balance 580, New Balance 9060, New Balance Fresh Foam X More Trail v3. Except for the aforementioned Fresh Foam, all of the sneakers feature textured leathers and a cool blue color, in addition to accenting grey tones, with subtle blue pops on the 550, 580, and 9060.

The “Grey Day” collection will be released on 12 May with a price range between US$175 to US$200. Head over to New Balance’s website then and snag a pair!
