Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics are currently in the middle of their second NBA Playoffs game against the Philadelphia 76ers. In the midst of it all, Jordan Brand is ready to unleash the next variation of the recently debuted Jordan Tatum 1, the “Barbershop”.
The third colorway of the silhouette is inspired by Tatum’s now-iconic quote during a pre-game warmup. “When I get a cut, I think I’m Top 5,” he hilariously commented to his teammates.
The Jordan Tatum 1 “Barbershop” features bright red and blue stripes on the heel pull tab and on the insole, a shoutout to a barbershop’s iconic pole. Elsewhere, Coconut Milk and black share real estate across the shoe’s upper, while a small hit of red accentuate the midsole’s exposed areas.
Finishing off the design is JT’s signature logo on the tongue tabs, while on the inside “Deuce” appears as a tribute to his son.
