The Air Max 1 has built off enough momentum from this year’s Air Max Day to ride its inertia through the next few months. There’ve been many inline releases since and the latest to arrive will be the titular “Rugged Orange”.

Sundial, Sail, Rugged Orange, and Light Orewood Brown dress the pair and its multi-material construction. From its textile mesh base layer, its tumbled leather overlays, and suede mudguard. Further along, Rugged Orange highlights the aforementioned mudguard that wraps around the base of the upper and profile Swooshes; with sail landing on the overlays, and majority of the upper upper.

Other noteworthy features are the contrasting orange accents offering a a subtle but dynamic touch of color. The tongue labels include a new “NIKE” logo design, and the heels bear a two-tone embroidery. The pair is anchored with a Sail midsole sitting atop a tri-colored rubber outsole.
