Tony Ferguson was at the vanguard of skateboarding throughout the 1990s. Thereafter, he founded Rone Footwear, having grown into an icon in world street culture, further solidifying his reputation.

This year, the label is engagement with New Balance putting thier unique stamp on the Tiago Lemos 1010 in honor of the skaters that supported Ferguson during his career. The athlete pays respect to the Brazilian sportsman by reinventing the silhouette with a ’90s identity.

Adhering to Ferguson and team’s preference for simplicity, despite a significant design deviation, the colorway remains uniform with the “N” emblem on the profile and “RONE” branding on the heel. The majority of the upper is covered in white neutrals, including the perforated toe box, overlays, lacing unit, etc., while the surrounding trimmings and the aforementioned emblems are highlighted in grey. A creamy midsole completes the aesthetic summoning a vintage vibe onto the pair.

There’s no firm release date yet but they’re expected to arrive within the year at NewBalance.com and RoneBrand.com. Find them there then with an RRP of US$180.
