Crenshaw Skate Club might not be the most recognisable name to people outside of Los Angeles, but they’re soon to be with an upcoming Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration.

Founded by Tobias McIntosh, the skate shop was started with the idea of representing McIntosh and his friends’ unique looks in the skate industry. The overall vision of the business has later grown to not only represent McIntosh and his friends, but to empower inner city skaters on a global level.

To note, this isn’t Crenshaw Skate Club’s first project with Nike. Last year, the skate label worked on an Air Jordan 36 Low PE, however it was strictly a promotional product.

While the inspiration behind this Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low has not been revealed just yet, it certainly seems like some of the skate shop’s values are imprinted on the SB Dunk Low. Through the early image provided by JF Grails, the overlays come with what seems to be a brushed graphic. McIntosh also applies his own creative touch on the iconic Nike SB’s tongue label. A special illustration will also feature beneath the translucent outsole.

While release details are still scanty at the moment, expect this upcoming Crenshaw Skate Club x Nike SB Dunk Low to release in the coming months. Stay tuned for more information regarding this release.
