Recent Jordan Brand signature shoe releases have seen a more intimate touch applied to them. One such example is the recent Jordan Tatum 1 “St. Louis”, in which Jayson Tatum pays tribute to his hometown. Now, fellow NBA superstar Luka Doncic is set to show his affectionate side with the Jordan Luka 1 “Dog Dad”, highlighting his three beloved dogs—Gia, Hugo and Kiki.

Coming in a rather playful color scheme, much of the new iteration sees the Luka 1 doused in white, including the TPU and cable overlays. A wave of pink accentuates the basketball shoe, appearing on the midsole molds and heel tab.

On the right shoe, “non desistas non exieris” appears on the medial mid panel, meaning “never give up, never surrender”. On the other shoe, “Jordan Brand Basketball” occupies the position.

As mentioned above, the titular “Dog Dad” is displayed on the graphic insoles, with paw prints of Gia, Hugo, and Kiki stacked on top of each other. On a side note, if you want love Doncic’s three dogs, they have their own Instagram page @hugo__gia__viki.
