DIZYGOTIC is once again commemorating 4/20 with another Cheech & Chong shoe offering, following its “Journey from 420 to 710” launched late last year. Their followup effort references the renowned comedic team’s (Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong) second film, 1980’s Cheech & Chong’s Next Movie. The shoe aptly called, DIZYGOTIC x Cheech & Chong “Next Shoe”.

The duo wears a classic “Cobalt Blue” and “Hemp Brown” ensemble that pays homage to the pair’s iconic costumes and is created from a number of various materials.

The polka dot mudguards bear the exact same patterns of Cheech’s shirt and Tommy’s bandana. Real horsehair is used to replicate the grey animal skin of Cheech’s second persona Cousin Red, while faux sheepskin and corduroy heels depict Chong’s vest and Cheech’s beanie. Final touches include a velvet lining, insoles printed with Cheech & Chong’s iconic lowrider van sticker, and a set of “Ain’t that a peach” napkin cloth inserts that are modeled after one of the duo’s humorous magic routines.

The sneaker is constructed with an all-premium top-grain pigskin suede upper, a perforated suede toe box, and embroidered depictions of Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong as their iconic film characters on the heel.

They’ll be available sometime in May with a price tag of US$267.
