The “Light Bone”Colorway of the Nike Air Monarch IV Arrives
The godfather of all Dad Shoes returns 10 years later.
It’s an apocryphal story but the resurgence of the Nike Air Monarch IV back in 2013 may have been the catalyst to the new appreciation for the Dad Shoe, one that’s perpetuated to this day. Nike’s best-selling shoes of 2013 return 10 years later and this time in a summer-friendly “Light Bone” colorway.
Dressed in a color pattern of Pewter Grey, Light Bone, Light Mahogany, White, and Shock Green, this iteration retains its complete leather make, with mesh accents on the tongue and heels. While Shock Green contrasting accents give a great splash of color for those dads who want some attention, Light Bone takes care of the majority of its upper. The aesthetic is finished by a White midsole sitting atop a Pewter Grey rubber outsole.
A release date hasn’t been disclosed but expect to find them on Nike’s brick-and-click with an RRP of US$75 when the powers that be says so.
