The Reebok Club C Pump “Citron” Is the Fusion of Two Icons
The comfort of the Club C meets the innovation of the Pump.
Reebok’s hallmark Pump technology debuted in 1989, a component primarily for their basketball line. Although this was extended to include designs like the Reebok Instapump Fury, more than three decades later the technology has since been integrated into additional models like the titular Club C, herein “Citron”.
The Club C’s DNA remains mostly undisturbed, evident in the clean white leather upper. It’s distinguished from its contemporaries through a burst of green provided by the branding elements, the tongue lining, and the collar. Logo placements are standard, including the one on the lateral quarter window, and the pump ball on the tongue.
It’s arguably just as amusing now as it were then. Pressing the pump repeatedly, adjusts the fit of the sneaker to the feet, assuring all-day comfort. Lastly, comes the two-tone green/yellow finish. The design is finished by a grey rubber outsole and sail midsole underneath the foot.
They’re expected to launch sometime in 2023 although no firm release date has emerged just yet. Find them on Reebok’s website and select retailers then. When more information does arrive, be sure to find an update her at this very page, so stay tuned!
