London-based streetwear label Maharishi and Reebok tease their latest collaboration on the LT Court. The latter’s collaborative catalogue far outweighs its partner’s but the Bolton shoemaker has displayed their proclivity for choosing the right ones in taking their classics beyond its plateau. Maison Margiela might bring a luxe yet deconstructionist take, JJJJound minimalistic, but Maharishi will add their own militaristic signatures hitherto unseen.

The Reebok LT Court may not be at the vanguard of the brand’s offerings, but considering the market’s changing palate, it has all the makings to jump at the fore. There’s only one image to lead off of but the close-up is more than enough to whet appetites and discern how the silhouette will look.

The typically white leather upper gets substituted with a multi-textile construction. Hemp fabric makes up most of the upper while olive—thematically-consistent with Maharishi’s “pacifist military” design ethos—run accross the forefoot molds, tongue banners, interior liners and outsoles. White accents add contrast to the pair by way of the tongue and laces, before being finished off with the Maharishi lettering that’s taken over Reebok’s on the quarter.

Images and information about the price point remain scarce at the time of writing but it has been announced on Maharishi’s website that they’ll be dropping on 28th October.
