The Nike Terminator High Gets Retrofitted Into a Hiking Boot
A Terminator as fierce as the terminator in a leather jacket.
The Nike Terminator High may have been designed for the hardwood, but it has since transcendent it and went to make its mark on the asphalt of the concrete jungle. And it’s transcending its sphere once again. Moving from the city, to the jungle with this new retrofitting of the ’80s classic.
Boasting neoprene uppers enhanced by matching suede overlays and Swooshes, the slick “Triple Black” makeup adds a strong utilitarian touch suited to its make. Ballistic mesh at the heel tabs, nylon tongues, trail laces, and metal upper eyelets all serve as additional details. While printed insoles, tongue tags, and “NIKE” at the back of the shoe function as branding. Simple black sole components elevate the shoe to complete the look, making it trail-ready for a vis-à-vis with Mother Nature.
They’re expected to be released in Japan on 21 April with an RRP of JPY19,800 (~US$150). Find them on Nike’s website then. Moreover, UNDEFEATED Japan just opened a raffle for the pair which will close on the 20th.
