When one thinks of the fall season, Japan is usually one of the top destinations in mind. Picture sitting in a nice tea house, beside a garden with falling autumn leaves. That’s where you’re sipping on a nice warm cup of matcha green tea, and also possibly wearing the latest ASICS’ offering, the GEL-Lyte V “Matcha Green”.

As its name would imply, this offering sees the silhouette dressed in an all-clad tonal yellow across its upper. A darker shade comes across the base, while the canvas overlay comes in a slightly brighter hue. The “GEL-LYTE V” text turns the color wheel once more, taking on its regular placing on the mid panel of the sneaker. Underfoot, the outsole comes in a gum makeover, differentiating the base slightly from the rest of the midsole and upper.
