The term “timeless” has been used to describe one-a-many silhouettes, but there aren’t many that fit the title more so than the Nike Air Max 1. Tinker Hatfield’s legendary creation celebrated its 36th anniversary this year and is still continuously one of Nike’s hottest models to date. It’s no surprise that the Air Max 1 is next in line to join the “Timeless” collection.

Boasting a pack that features the likes of the Vomero 5, Dunk Low and Air Force 1, the “Timeless” collection is one that combines elements of different models into one. The same can be said for this upcoming Nike Air Max 1, as it adopts design cues from the OG Air Force 1 High designed by Bruce Kilgore.

Coming in the most “Timeless” of all colors, this latest offering sees the Air Max 1 in a near-clad dressing of white across its upper. The silhouette retains its traditional mesh base, but the toe box has been replaced with the perforated leather toe box from the Air Force 1.

If the toe box wasn’t enough, the addition of a grey nylon strap across its laces is sure to cement its inspiration from the OG Air Force 1 High. Vintage grey takes on the sneaker’s Swooshes and heel branding, while a creamy sail hue adorns the midsole.

Much like its siblings in the collection, the tongue tab on the Air Max 1 is also partially faded, while graphic motifs of a pocket watch and globe detail the insoles.

A release date has not been confirmed for the Nike Air Max 1 “Timeless”, but look for it to arrive at Nike and select retailers in the coming months.
