The Second Wave of the UNDERCOVER x Nike Moc Flow SP Washes Ashore
A stealthy colorway for actually going UNDERCOVER.
Last February, the long-time duo of Nike and UNDERCOVER released two colorways of the former’s Moc Flow. In relative quick succession, two more will be joining the coterie of the “Light Bone” and “Ale Brown”, a stealthy black one and another Ale Brown, sans the pixelized camouflage pattern.
The specs are essentially consistent throughout diverging only in terms of its color palette. The first arrives in a singular black with a speckled white finish on the midsoles. Nubuck leather forms the upper, perforated on the lateral quarter while adjacent is the “UNDERCOVER Jun Takahashi” branding debossed. Moving along, a leather panel is introduced on the heel carrying the toggle system that secures the feet into the shoe.
This part is where the two pairs deviate. The Ale Brown engulf the pair’s upper with a lighter, tonal hue on the sole unit where a translucent rubber outsole supports underfoot. As mentioned earlier, the heel sees a contrast in Team Royal with said color making another appearance on the medial panel.
Both pairs feature perforations throughout the outsole and like its two predecessors, will be housed in a specially-designed co-branded shoebox. Find them on SNKRS from 12 April with a price point of US$160.
