The COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Terminator pack is finally arriving. First previewed backstage at the COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus show last June, it was the first sighting of the Nike Terminator in eight years before the Swoosh brought the heritage silhouette back late last year.

Since then, the basketball sneaker from 1985 has definitely made its presence felt with frequent releases in multiple colorways and variations.

As with past COMME des GARÇONS collabs, the Terminator retains a clean, minimal look. Dressed in the collegiate colors of Navy, Black and Red, the collaborative sneaker is constructed in premium white leather and wrapped with leather overlays in the respective colors.

Along with the confirmation of its 1 April release date and US$235 price tag, a quirky campaign video featuring elephants and the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Terminators were released. No animals were harmed because the animals are AI-generated; as to why elephants were chosen, no one really knows…
