Not too long ago, news emerged that both Ja Morant and Jayson Tatum were getting their own signature shoes, from Nike and Jordan Brand respectively. The first colorways of the Nike Ja 1 and the Jordan Tatum 1 are both set to release in the coming month.

While basketball fans eagerly await the release of two top superstar’s first signature shoes, it seems like the Swoosh brand is not slowing down. Part of their efforts to introduce the next wave of young stars into their roster, Nike has quickly looked towards another superstar to bolster their lineup. Cue Devin Booker, one of the league’s finest shooting guards at the moment.

Unlike the aforementioned duo who were both drafted in the top 3 of their respective classes, Booker was only selected 13th by the Pheonix Suns in 2015. That being said, he quickly exploded onto the scene and proved to the 12 earlier teams they made a mistake. Named to the All-Rookie First Team in his first year in the NBA, Booker quickly became the face of the Suns, bringing them into Playoff contention alongside veteran Chris Paul.

In his 8-year span as a NBA player, Booker has been named as an All-Star three times, and made the All-NBA First Team last year. Now together with elite stars like Chris Paul and Kevin Durant, expect the trio to lead the Pheonix Suns towards the coveted NBA title this Playoff season.

Devin Booker is only getting better and better as he ages, and there’s no denying he’s one of the best shooting guards in the league right now. It’s no surprise Nike has selected him as their next signature star. Enter the Nike D Book 1, currently reported to release in 2024 by Sneaker Files.

While not much else is currently known about the Nike D Book 1, you can expect it to come with its own special story, similar to the Ja 1 and the Tatum 1. Stay tuned for more information as we’ll bring you the latest as soon we get them.
