As we countdown to Air Max Day on 26 March, Nike has prepared a wide range of offerings and activities for the classic silhouette, including a new silhouette and even a campaign with K-Pop idol group NewJeans.

Joining the lineup of releases comes a new “Black Toe” rendition, which reminisces the “Chili” colorway that debuted in 2003. Constructed with mesh, suede and nubuck leather throughout its upper, University Red dresses the Swoosh and Air Unit before Black runs across the toe cap, interior linings and outsole.

The difference between the two comes with a lighter shade of grey on the latest pair, alongside reversed color blocking on the shoe tongue labels.

No release dates are confirmed for the Nike Air Max 1 “Black Toe” yet, but rest assured we will keep you updated here when more details or images surfaces. In the meantime, take a look at the images provided by @long7ze on the article slider above.

Expect the pair to arrive via Nike and select retailers with a retail price of $160.
