CLOT has been on a very successful run lately with their “CLOTEZ” series, their joint effort with Nike on the classic Cortez silhouette. Selling out almost instantly, we’ve seen the archetypal “Black/White”, yin-yang-inspired colorway, followed by the Bruce Lee “Black/Varsity Maize” homage. Now for its victory lap, they conclude the trilogy with the colorway actually associated with a successful run: the “Forrest Gump”.

It’s one immortalized by the silver screen in the 1994 film (and earlier on by Farah Fawcett in an episode of Charlie’s Angels in 1976); forever cementing their association, solidifying the tether between the film, the shoes, and the colorway. The “White/Game Royal-University Red” makeup eternally synonymous with the movie. For the final iteration of the CLOTEZ, it returns to its quintessence, its original form.

Teased by Edison Chen himself on his Instagram account, while promoting the launch of Nothing’s latest upcoming earphones, there sits the CLOTEZ “Forrest Gump”. It’s easy to distinguish it by looking at the elements visible in the picture. First, there’s the modular design with the interchangeable bootie, as well as the security toggle on the heel. Therein, the yin-yang emblem as well as the signature red and blue accenting the shoes over the white base layer.

There’s no word yet about a release date but considering the distance between the release of the first two, which is just weeks, there’s reason to assume that the last isn’t far away. They should arrive within the coming weeks or at most, months.

Expect to find them on JUICESTORE when D-day comes to pass. Prepare US$140, your calendars and alarm clocks for they sell out fast. Be lightning, my friend.

Here’s another pair that’s bound to summon pandemonium on release day. Check out the rumored Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG SP “White/Black”.
