[Update 20 Mar 2023] More images of the “Palomino” AJ3 have emerged, this time courtesy of @fkzsnkrs. The wide set of on-feet looks shines light on some of the pair’s best features like the golden Jumpman embroidery on the tongue, the similar imprint on the footbed, and the hallmark elephant skin design in brown as opposed to its signature grey. If nothing else changes, find the pair on SNKRS come 19 August for US$200.

LINELong rumored to be releasing in 2023, the Nike Air Jordan 3 “Palomino” has just been confirmed by various trusted sneaker sources.

Mockups of the horse-inspired sneaker show the shoe clad in various shades of brown, including Light Orewood Brown, Light British Tan and the titular Palomino. According to info from @zsneakerheadz and @jfgrails, this Air Jordan 3 Palomino will feature a white tumbled leather upper, complemented with perforated leather in a light tan hue at the collar and tongue.

The darker Palomino brown can be spotted wrapping around the heel of the white midsole. Right below the visible Air bubble, grey colors the rubber outsole.

However, the real star of this pair of AJ3 is actually the Tinker Hatfield-designed elephant print, which has been given a brown color treatment here and is featured prominently at the mudguard, lacing unit and heel.

Arguably one of the most iconic prints from the Swoosh archives, the elephant print has shown that it’s still got it with public anticipation running high for the upcoming Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Reimagined”.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the elephant print in brown either. Yet, on this Air Jordan 3 Palomino, the brown elephant graphic blends harmoniously with the rest of the shoe, giving it a heritage shoe vibe and making it a worthy contender to the White Cement.

While official images have yet to be released by Jordan Brand, we are expecting the Air Jordan 3 Palomino to drop on 19 August with a US$200 price tag. Follow along for the latest!
