While it’s nothing new for Jordan Brand to bring back retro silhouettes from time to time, the “Reimagined” series started off with a big bang that shook the entire sneaker industry. The Air Jordan 1 High “Lost & Found Reimagined” kicked things off late last year, and the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Reimagined” is soon set to join the collection next week.

It doesn’t seem like Jordan Brand is slowing down with the series either. Rumors began circulating that a possible Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Royal” Reimagined will join its OG siblings next year. To add fuel to the fire, another legendary silhouette—the Air Jordan 4 “Bred”, will soon get its own “Reimagined” makeover as well.

According to @zsneakerheadz and @sneakerfiles, the Jordan Brand will bring out the Air Jordan 4 “Bred Reimagined” come March 2024. This will definitely be music to the ears of Jordan 4 and specifically “Bred” lovers, given that they’re still waiting for the Off-White × Nike Air Jordan 4 “Bred” that hasn’t arrived.

Also known as the “Black Cement”, the Air Jordan 4 “Bred” debuted in 1989 following Michael Jordan’s first MVP award. Yes, the “Bred” was also the shoe he wore when he took “The Shot” against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Since then, 5 different renditions of the infamous colorway have been released, with a sixth possibly on the horizon.

However, contrary to what we’ve seen thus far with the “Reimagined” series, @sneakerfiles has remarked that the “Bred” might not come in a vintage makeover. While that remains to be seen, what’s certain is that the OG “Nike Air” branding will return on the heel. Another big W for retro Jordan lovers.

It’s definitely still early days for the “Bred Reimagined”, so hold onto your boats for now. We’ve already seen the Air Jordan 1 High “Black Toe Reimagined” possibly being scrapped, despite being initially reported to drop this Holiday season. And that’s not even including the aforementioned Off-White rendition which hasn’t seen the light of day either.

For now, let’s take a walk through memory lane and revisit the OG 1989 Air Jordan 4 “Bred” via the top slider above. Stay tuned as we’ll be sure to keep you updated on this one.
