[Update 25 May 2023] The Nike Air Max 97 “Be True” is set to release on Nike SNKRS on 1 June, at a retail price of S$269 (~US$200). Expect a global release date in the coming weeks.

Pride Month has yet to arrive, but Nike has already prepared ahead of the occasion with their latest offering of the Air Max 97. Presented as a message to the LGBTQIA2S+ community, the silhouette now takes its form with “Be True”.

Constructed in a mix of leather and suede on the uppers, colorful frill fabric detailings accentuate the fluid panels of the pair.

At the side logo opening comes a “Be True” bead bracelet attached, which matches a “Be True” writing on the heel linings. Lastly, the titular description will also dock the graphic-printed insoles alongside the Swoosh logo.

On the packaging, Nike decorates the box with the six pride colors and also included an extra charm bracelet featuring original heart and Swoosh designs.

No release dates are confirmed at the moment, but rest assured we will keep you updated on the Nike Air Max 97 “Be True” when updates surface.
