Following the end of Milan Fashion Week, Louis Vuitton continues to keep things exciting for fashion enthusiasts with their “White Canvas: LV Trainer in Residence” exhibition.

Bringing new perspectives to former Men’s Artistic Director Virgil Abloh’s design, the luxury house offers their LV Trainer as a canvas for creative reinterpretations by various artists. And for the first installment, the theme is set on the 1908s New York underground scene.

With images provided by @samutaro, the pair is seen outfitted with late prolific artist Rammellzee’s diverse artwork on the signature brown leather uppers. A darker hue dresses the midsole with speckled details, as though it reflects his immersive worldview on graffiti, art, music and philosophy.

For those who don’t know; Rammellzee is known for his Gothic Futurism theory which dictates a visual style inspired by Gothic calligraphy, resulting in strong and bold graffiti prints. These prints from the late Queens artist will also reportedly be featured on a rumored Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration.

Set to run from 24 February to 16 March at Louis Vuitton, Via Bagutta, the “White Canvas: LV Trainer in Residence” exhibition will feature Rammellzee’s pair alongside two other artists. Admissions are free and no reservations are required, so head down if you are in Milan during that period.
