Miu Miu and New Balance are reuniting for a second collection of New Balance 574 sneakers.

Miu Miu entered the world of sneaker collab last year when they teamed up with New Balance for a surprise trio of NB 574s. The first Miu Miu x New Balance 574 sneakers were noted for their unique appearance—they were swathed in distressed denim in three colors, Denim, Colonial Beige and White—and their US$950 price tags.

For their second partnership, the Milan luxury fashion label and Boston footwear brand are exploring the distressed aesthetic further with an additional three pairs of collaborative 574s.

Reprising a similar fringed denim style are two pairs in “Denim” and “Cognac”. The “Cognac” features what Miu Miu calls “marbleized denim”, essentially a washed-out brown denim complete with raw frayed edges; while the “Denim” is an reissue of a similar sold-out colorway from last year. The third model is constructed with white Nappa leather and treated to look worn-in and vintage.

All three pairs of Miu Miu x New Balance 574 feature co-branding at the tongues and NB’s ENCAP midsole cushioning underfoot. The shoes are also made in Italy, which apparently gives them a “luxury” edge.

Slated to drop by end of February, the denim pairs retail for US$950 and the nappa leather version will set you back by US$1020. Stay tuned as we bring you more updates of the Miu Miu x New Balance 574 sneakers.
