Matthew M Williams “Show” His Take on Rainboots With Givenchy

Ever since his takeover as Creative Director back in 2020, Matthew M Williams has displayed a new perspective to Givenchy’s luxury aesthetics. Sighting influences from his 1017 ALYX 9SM output, recent collections showcased a utilitarian approach while preserving the luxury brand’s ethos.

Looking to recent rubber boots trend as started by the likes of Bottega Veneta and Balenciaga, MMW has unveiled his latest take with the Givenchy Show Rainboots.

Offered in both ankle and high rise variations, the lineup receives a full rubber construction on the uppers and outsole with layered overlays for a rugged avant-garde look. Detailing remains minimal with the pairs, with only Givenchy’s logo outfitted at the heel counter and insoles.

Now available for purchase via Givenchy, retail prices are set between $795 to $850. The Show Ankle Rainboots will see both black and off-white renditions while Show High Rainboots will only be released in black.
