First Look: Nike Air Jordan 1 Low “Mismatch Chicago”
Another "Chicago" themed release is upon us, this time as a kids' exclusive.
More often than not, the Jordan Brand usually employs a uniform color blocking on both pairs of a shoe. When the Jumpman does decide to change things up, it’s usually worth sitting up for. Especially when it involves the all-too-familiar red, white and black color scheme.
Fresh off Jordan’s production line, this upcoming kids’ exclusive Nike Air Jordan 1 Low “Mismatch Chicago” is an electrifying combination of the brand’s favourite colors with a tinge of innovation. Playing with the “Chicago” colors, both pairs feature a similar white leather base, wrapping the toe box and tongue. Both pairs also feature a mesh-like material on their mid panels, similar to that found on a sports jersey.
On the left shoe, red adorns the front half of the overlays as well as the mudguard, laces, tongue branding and Swoosh logo. Further back, black is used on the eyestays, collar, lining, heel overlay and the outsole underfoot. Contrasting this makeup, the right shoe alternates the red and black color blocking, giving rise to the title of the colorway.
Pictures tell a thousand words, so while we wait for more official details such as its release date, explore the color inversion on both pairs via the top slider above. Stay tuned as we’ll bring you the latest as soon we as get them.
