[Update 6 Feb 2023] Alongside an earlier release date, a second colorway of the Air Penny 2 has been confirmed to be releasing exclusively via Stüssy. Known as the “Fossil”, the pair opts for a cleaner outlook through a full bone white construction.

Take this time to check out latest images on the top slider above as we await for the official Stüssy drop on the 10th, followed by a Nike SNKRS release on the 14th. Prices will range from $16 to $175 for the apparel and $200 for the shoes.

There’s the axiom “familiarity breeds contempt”, but such is not the case when it comes to the Nike x Stüssy brand. Familiarity, not the novel, is what draws fans both new and returning. It’s not ground-breaking designs that most people wear them for, it’s the identity, the streetwear au corant’s stamp of approval, and for the longest fans—loyalty.

The collection subsumes the usual suspects of sweatsuits, knitted sweaters, and t-shirts. They’re purported to be released on 14 February with an earlier release on Stüssy’s website either on the 3rd or 10th. Just stay put while we try to ascertain the information.

Kicking off the year with a great start, California streetwear label Stüssy returns with Nike for a capsule collection release and among the lineup comes an updated colorway for the Air Penny 2.

Arriving in a “Rattan” rendition, the silhouette keeps the former detailing with hemp construction, while the uppers sees an upgrade with cotton linen canvas and overlayed with suede panels. Blue outfits the Stüssy branding on the sides and also on the Air unit equipped to the black sole.

Looking to the apparel section, a full lineup has yet to be announced by the duo, but images surfaced shows a range of outers, knits, t-shirts and sweatshirts which dock logo-centered designs and also signature Stüssy graphics.

While a release date is yet to be confirmed for the apparel collection, the Stüssy x Nike Air Penny 2 “Rattan” is set to arrive on 14 February for $200 via Stüssy, Nike SNKRS and selected retailers.
