[Update 10 Jan 2023] More details have now been announced by the Shenzhen boutique. Officially releasing on 14 February, the COSTS x Children of the discordance x Salomon XT-6 will be made available via COSTS and selected Salomon stores for 1498 RMB (~US$220).

Children of the discordance, brainchild of Japanese designer Hideaki Shikama has gathered an extensive following throughout the years, especially since the label made its Milan Digital Fashion Week debut in July 2020.

This time, gearing up for its SS23 collection, the Japanese label has curated an exclusive sneaker release in partnership with Salomon. Taking to the latter’s classic XT-6, construction details were retained with the TPU-uppers, Agile Chassis System and Mud Contragrip outsole.

The body however, is outfitted and split into silver, white and dark orange panels and linings around. Underneath the caging, Shikama’s love for vintage and archive works reflects in the form of ecru art prints while “DISCORDANCE EXPLORATION” replaces the branding on the tongues.

Set to release on 14 February, the Children of the discordance x Salomon XT-6 will be made available via Shenzhen boutique COSTS. In the meantime, we will keep you updated here on pricing and more when updates surfaces.
