[Update 14 Mar 2023] SNKRS Japan has officially launched its 5th anniversary celebrations. Starting from 13 March, SNKRS Japan is holding a 10-minute quiz everyday for three days. A total of 5,555 winners will be selected based on the total number of points they have received, and they will be given limited access to take home one out of two new SNKRS kicks.

It is unclear which “two new SNKRS sneakers” will be the prize sneakers, but expect them to be from Nike’s top tier offerings. On top of this SNKRS quiz, if you are residing in Japan, you can also expect an exciting lineup of celebratory events, such as a restock of popular Swoosh models and SNKRS CAM.

LineIn celebration of SNKRS Japan’s 5th anniversary, Nike has put together a series of commemoratory events, set to be unveiled on 20 March 2023.

There’s a thriving sneaker community in Japan and traditionally it’s been one of Nike’s biggest markets. To thank Japanese fans for their support the past five years, SNKRS Japan will reportedly be hosting “SNKRS 5th Anniversary Vol. 1” with events like the restock of popular styles including rare CO.JP sneakers, and the return of SNKRS CAM—Nike’s version of AR scavenger hunt.

According to screengrabs from SNKRS Japan via Up To Date, two of the sneakers that are set to make their comebacks are the fragment design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low and the Off-White x Nike Air Max 90 “Black” from Virgil Abloh’s “The Ten” series.

The three-way collaborative AJ1 Low and the Off-White Air Max 90 are arguably some of the biggest releases in the past decade—so if you are residing in Japan, be sure to standby your SNKRS App come 20 March. Additionally, Nike also teased that there is more to come, so keep your eyes peeled for the latest updates.

In other sneaker-related news, LeBron James just debuted the collaborative Nike Air Max 1 “Liverpool”.
