Virgil Abloh’s mark on the street scene remains and continues to make its presence known through his multiple collaborations. In a latest leak courtesy of @horhead_sales, a new Off-White rendition of Air Force 1 Mid appears to be on its way.
Per Off-White’s usual sneaker style, Air Force 1 Mid comes complete with zip-ties and deconstructed elements. For one, the Swoosh’s seam stitches are exposed. The shoe’s sole is also in Air Max likeness with a flexible gas pouch. This edition, with its uppers and sole coated in a deep green, is reminiscent of Abloh’s take on the Air Force 1 Low under Louis Vuitton.
Most notable in this green Air Force 1 Mid is the cactus or candelabra logo on the lateral heel. Though the symbolism of this logo has yet to be revealed, it is a never-seen-before design that is likely to represent a design thought unique to the creative genius of Abloh. Alongside this three-wick symbol, an “OFF” can also be seen stitched to the heel.
Release dates are still in murky waters, as are the retail prices. Keep this page bookmarked to receive the latest news and updates on this launch.
