[Update 21 Aug 2023] A release date has been confirmed for the Nike Terminator Low “Georgetown”. The pair will arrive on 24 August via Nike SNKRS with a retail price tag of US$120. While we anticipate the drop, check out official shots of the pair on the article slider above.

[Update 12 May 2023] New images of the titular pair have emerged. Enjoy this cleaner, more detailed look while waiting for news of a release date!

LINEThe Nike Terminator has a rich pedigree that spans close to four decades. Introduced in 1985, its original OG High form was part of the “Be True to Your School” Pack that gifts Division 1 NCAA basketball teams their own team-inspired colorways. And none is as deserving as the top-seeded, 35-2, Patrick Ewing-led, Georgetown Hoyas. Like the ebb and flow of life, for every High comes a Low.

Dressed in “Granite” and “Dark Obsidian”, the Lows are as relevant today as they were during their first outing, if not more so. It’s not a drastic remodelling of its predecessor, retaining its signature colors and make, sans the extended ankle collar.

Branding elements remain where they are particularly through the profile Swooshes and the imprint on the tongue tag. But how it defers from its Blazer and Dunk contemporaries, aside from the minor color-blocking, is the imposing “NIKE” that occupies much of the heel counter.

The silhouette pictured in the slider above is the one from its 2008 release. Nevertheless, it’s purported that its 2023 homecoming will be outfitted just the same. There’s no firm release date just yet but they’re expected to go for ~US$140.

As we wait for more information and official images, check out the Nike Dunk Low “Setsubun”. It might just be your cup of tea.
