Slides were once just a summer staple or a pair to hit the neighborhood grocery shopping. But in recent years, the simple silhouette has evolved into a fashion statement and more brands are adapting to the trend by offering their own take with modern aesthetics.

Looking to sports label adidas, the Adilette 22 Slide was introduced in 2022—as the name implies—which saw a huge spark in attention among sneakerheads for sporting resemblances to the Yeezy Slide. While past catalogue sees a collection of more earth-tone centered colorways, the three-stripes label has decided to go bold on the silhouette for 2023.

Introducing the adidas Adilette 22 Slide “Preloved Red”, the slide is outfitted in a full blown orange/red hue on the pant-based constructed body. All other details have been retained with the topographical aesthetic, EVA cushioned footbed and “THE BRAND WITH THE THREE STRIPES” typography on the sides.
