[Update 7 Jul 2023] For those looking to update their black-and-white kicks, a release date for the new Nike Dunk Low Twist “Panda” has finally been announced. It’s set to drop on Nike SNKRS and select retailers on 3 August, so do be prepared ahead of time and good luck!

[Update 27 Mar 2023] Official images of the upcoming Nike Dunk Low Twist “Panda” have emerged. As previously noted, the lateral Swooshes do indeed protrude from the quarter, drawing instant comparisons to the AMBUSH × Nike Dunk High “Black” that released back in 2020. Nonetheless, keep an eye out for these as they’re set to arrive later this year. Stay tuned as we’ll bring you the latest as soon as we can!

[Update 16 Feb 2023] There’re no official images yet but these new set of leaks nevertheless provides new angular looks at the pair. Worth noting are the profile Swooshes that protrudes from the quarter, as well as minimized rubber tongue patch. There’s no release date yet but they’re expected to arrive sometime in the fall. Expect more updates at this very page, stay tuned!

Nike is thoroughly milking their Dunk Low cash cow. This year, they’ll deliver another remix of the uber popular “Panda”, that’s not from Desiigner. In 2022, the silhouette has gone through several metamorphosis. Case in point: the Dunk Low Remastered and the Dunk Low Disrupt 2, each one with a variety of colorways.

The Low’s ubiquity is partly because it’s a staple for women as much as it is for men. Thus, recognizing this, the Swoosh delivers the incoming Twist iteration for them. At the vanguard of this, is of course the titular Panda. It mostly remains faithful to its blueprint but the construction is where it deviates, it’s where it’s elevated.

It’s most noticeable in the application of the profile Swooshes, where it’s detached from the main body similar to the MO seen on AMBUSH’s Air Force 1. Bumpers are also integrated that covers the circumference of the shoe from the toe through to the heel. The rear tab is also enlarged adding a new dimension to the holistic aesthetic.

While the white/black version will lead the charge, other purported colorways like white/jade ice, coconut milk/vivid sulfur, and rush fuchsia/black are part of the cavalry arriving in the fall of 2023. They’re expected to retail for US$120.

There’s no firm release date just yet and with it being a full season away, it could change. Possibly due to supply chain issues that have plagued the industry in the last two years. Nevertheless, when word gets to us, we’ll get them to you.

In the mean time, check out some of their imminent releases like Jayson Tatum’s debut signature, Jordan Tatum 1 “Zoo”.
