[Update 21 Nov] Product shots of the remodelled classic have been released. The preceding on-foot photos have offered many angular looks of the pair and these new images only reveal more and clearer details. While the design remains familiar, the elements of deconstructivism comes through especially on the tongue, as seen from the overhead shot.

With an exposed foam construction, the tongue unusually extends past the vamp with the laces being secured the inconspicuous loopholes as opposed to the standard eyelets. The pull tab in the area also runs through from the crown of the shoe down past the throat. Air Zoom tech elevates the sole unit underfoot made up with a tonal earth shade.

A release date hasn’t been disclosed by Nike at the time of writing other than a spring 2023. But with every new image surfacing, it becomes more imminent.

The Nike Dunk Low has been at the vanguard of the Swoosh’s offerings for at least three decades now. Judging from the status quo, it’s experiencing a ubiquity it may not have had even in its zenith. This’s more impressive considering it has even more to contend with. New iterations have been introduced, countless collaborators have used it as a canvas. And just to keep the inertia, its maker performs an overhaul on the pair.

The DNA of its forebears remains imbedded but this time injected with deconstructivism. Panels on the tongue have been rearranged with the introduction of a pull tab. The tongue itself now also features an exposed foam with its tag asymmetric. The leather base panels now replaced with a contemporary breathable mesh. Lest we forget, the sole unit gets an update as well with a new traction patter underfoot.

They make their unofficial debut, courtesy of these leaks from @knowing_kicks. Dressed in an earthy mix, brown holds the pair as the base layer with olive taking real estate through the leather overlays. Orange adds contrast through the leather strip on the quarter and the tongue tags.

No firm release date has been disclosed by Nike but they’re expected to arrive with the first half of 2023. Till then, check out the Nike Dunk Low LX “Black Suede”, just for variety.
