The “Space Jam” iteration of the Nike Air Jordan 11 is one of the model’s most popular. As how the Cortez was immortalized in Forrest Gump, the same way for the AJ 11 in 1996’s Space Jam. Many silhouettes have been seen on Jordan’s feet in an NBA game, but only one’s been seen in a movie.

Classic Air Jordan 1 colorways have inspired its successors, this time around it gets inspired by one of them. The AJ 1 has borrowed the 11’s iconic “Concord” dressing earlier on, and it returns to raid the younger brother’s wardrobe once again.

The titular makeup lands on the Mids. Although the mids don’t get much love from the purists, an exception might be made. The upper arrives in a uniform black, but the gleam on the Dark Concord patent leather overlays distinguishes its parts. Purple regal the pair on the Jumpman on the tongue, and the imprints on the footbed.

Faithful to its blueprint, the Jordan Wings logo is debossed on the ankle jacket as the rest of its body sits atop a white midsole. The silhouette flourishes even more as its anchored by the Space Jam hallmark crystal rubber outsole.

The Air Jordan 1 Mids “Space Jam” will come through the SNKRS-sphere on 23 January, 2023, with an RRP of US$135.
